Our Founder and Proprietor, Mr. Floyd Francis Mariano Gracias, has an extensive practice, spanning over nearly two decades as Advocate/Counsel at the High Court of Judicature at Bombay and over a decade as Counsel at the Supreme Court of India. An illustrious alumnus of the prestigious St. Xavier’s College, Mumbai and subsequently the G. J. Advani Law College, Mumbai, he was enrolled as a member of the Bar in the year 2007. Ever since, with an extensive practice over 17 years, he has built a distinguished reputation and expertise the fields of Constitutional Law, Media Law, Property Law, Contract Law, Testamentary Law, Consumer Protection and Environmental Law. In the said duration he has also acted as Amicus Curiae to the Honourable Bombay High Court in a Suo Moto PIL and as Counsel to several large corporates and celebrities in a wide array of consultancy and litigation matters, both domestic and international. In addition to his role as Counsel and Advocate, Mr. Gracias also serves as the Chief Academic Consultant & Advisory Board Member at LexDukos, a premium legal edtech platform
Despite his demanding schedule, Mr. Gracias consistently strives to give back to the legal community. A committed advocate for social causes, he is actively involved with several legal and civic issues, by extending pro bono legal services and imparting legal knowledge in simplified and lucid manner through public seminars and through his YouTube channel. Mr. Gracias also continues to be a visiting faculty and lecturer at several noteworthy academic institutions.
Mr. Gracias has also authored “A Handbook on The Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act, 2007” which was published in the year 2010. In addition to being a published author, Mr. Gracias contributes regularly to newsletters and periodicals as a Constitutional Expert and has presented several papers at international conferences as well.
